January 2014 is the beginning of the year and my social work in Oława Staff of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. This year the orchestra gathered money for the purchase of specialized equipment for pediatric emergency medicine and decent medical care for seniors. On 12 January the inhabitants of Oława gathered 74,697 thousand zloty.

At the same time I was nominated for a plebiscite Inhabitant of Lower Silesia 2013, where I had second place with an incredible amount of 31789 votes. I am very pleased, that so many people appreciated what I do for other people.

April 11 - my friends have prepared an extraordinary surprise for me. In the great mystery, on the day of my chemotherapy, in the evening they organized a meeting of several dozen of my friends. It was an evening full of emotions, pleasant conversations and crazy fun. I am very pleased that my friends don’t allow me to think about my illness.

April 15 at the invitation of Mariola Bojarska-Ferenc I had the honor to host in the TVP 2 program ,,Question for breakfast”. We talked about my illness and charity for cancer patients ,,I give head", which will be held June 8 at 14.00 at Solny Square in Wroclaw. Anyone who visits Solny Square at this day can free shorten, cut or dye your hair. The organizer of the campaign is the company Relatis Agnieszka Sawczyńska. Our Association ,,Always Woman" receives for each head money from sponsors to support cancer patients.

June 6 at the Gala evening ,,Women’s Activity", led by Marcin Prokop I was honored with 3 prizes.

For my social activity for women I received a special award of the Association “Women’s Activity” honourable mention from PZU Life (Polish Insurance Company) and Golden Cross of Merit awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland and handed by the Deputy Governor Mrs. Ewa Mańkowska.

For me it was a great honor and satisfaction of a well done social work.

Our project “I give head” is developing like a snowball. More and more people from the headlines wishes to participate. The first person who shaved his head was my friend Kryspin Matusewicz. I am very happy because I shaved him personally.

June 8 at the Solny Square in the early hours of the morning were crowds of people willing to participate in our action. People in queue, who wanted to cut their hair, were standing over 5 hours. In 35 degree heat, a group of several hundred people was waiting for their turn about 3-4 hours.

On the big stage the party led Mariola Bojarska-Ferenc, and on the small stage with the support of Artur Piotrowski 15 hairdressers shaved, trimmed, cut plaits and ponytails over 500 people.

The event was attended by unusual women: Ilona Antoniszyn - Klik, Aldona Młyńczak, Anna Zmarzły, Ilona Felicjańska, Agnieszka Perepeczko, Martyna Jakubowicz, Anna Jelenik.

On stage, in addition to interesting conversations with amazing guests, dominated also singing and music for the entire duration of the event.

We thank all those, who have honored us with their presence. I am sure, that this event will be repeated cyclically.

In June, in celebration of the Day of the City Oława, took place in our city Vintage Car Rally. To make more attractive the party I gave my friends costumes from 1950-60. Our appearance among beautiful cars sparked a genuine interest and a smile on the face among the visitors.
Our friend Ewa Romańczuk was crowned with the title of Miss 40+.

The month October is the month of the fight against breast cancer. On 17-19.10 I organized in our city the fourth edition of the Femininity Festival. The first element of the festival was the March of Pink Ribbon, which led Mariola Bojarska-Ferenc. To the sound of a wind orchestra, operating at Art Center in Oława, we went with the youth along the streets, in order to emphasize the importance of preventive tests for women. For 3 days we examined free of charge 150 women, a growing number of eager women confirms our belief of the rightness of organization of such research. The second part of the Festival was the II Lower Silesian Forum of Active Women, where we got to know the amazing stories of women. The last part of our annual event was the II Lower Silesian Run for Health for Cancer Patients, attended by 300 runners from all over the country. Beautiful weather, amazing atmosphere and the spirit of sportsmanship made our event a successful.

In December, as every year, I have not forgotten about the people who aren’t lucky in life. Together with some friends we organized for the fifth a Christmas Eve for the homeless and needy. In addition to our Christmas Eve dinner, guests received a gift of food parcels.

Despite my health problems, I am very happy that so many interesting events could be experienced in the past year.
